Finca El Retiro

These are the winery’s oldest vines, with plants more than 65 years old. It is the only vineyard with pergola training, which is ideal for Torrontés since it produces medium luminosity on the grape bunches, allowing the achievement of a unique aromatic expression. Finca Alto Río Seco

This vineyard sits at the foot of the hill, in extremely rocky and poor soil, which allows the terroir to be fully expressed in our wines, thus allowing one to taste the landscape of our valley in each glass. The rows were planted this way to achieve optimal sunlight on the bunches, with the goal of obtaining an exquisite aromatic expression in the grapes. The slope of the land allows us to naturally protect the vineyard from inclement weather such as frost, as the constant ventilation produces very healthy and well-balanced plants.

Finca Alto los Cuises

This is our highest altitude vineyard. It is located deep in the mountains of the Sierra del Cajón. It was planted in terraces, following the Incan vine growing method since the slope is very steep and this is the only way to be able to get water to each vine. The site has a special microclimate in which the vine grows according to the extreme high altitude climate, with long growing cycles in which the slow ripening of the Malbec gives it an optimum ripeness in terms of sugar levels as well as aromas and polyphenols. This is the winery’s most bio-diverse vineyard, with an abundance of native flora and fauna growing in it. This offers us an ideal ecological equilibrium, which allows us to respectfully coexist with the environment.
